About Yamaira Perez

My journey into counseling began following several personal experiences that deepened my curiosity about human resiliency. The desire to help others find inner strength when facing life’s unimaginable challenges became my life’s purpose. Following the loss of my daughter, Khloe Grace, in 2020, I had to incorporate much of my professional skills into my personal life. It was then that I began to recognize that loss cannot be overcome, but carried. Personal tragedy helped deepen my understanding of human resilience, the importance of connection, and my desire to serve others.

Our individual therapy sessions are designed to address your specific concerns and help you navigate life's challenges. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, we aim to empower you to overcome obstacles and live a fulfilling life.

Family

Family therapy sessions aim to improve family dynamics, resolve conflicts, and strengthen bonds. By promoting understanding and effective communication, we help families navigate challenges together and create harmonious relationships.

Couples

Our couples therapy focuses on enhancing communication, building trust, and strengthening relationships. We provide a neutral and supportive environment for couples to address conflicts, improve intimacy, and foster a deeper connection.

Collaboration

I use an eclectic, collaborative, strength-based approach to help clients meet their treatment goals. My goal is to tailor interventions to the unique needs of my clients while practicing humility and embracing diversity.

Vulnerability

I always start with an introductory session where you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable being vulnerable while feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality.
