Yamaira Perez is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most difficult moments with resilience, connection, and hope. Her journey into counseling was shaped by deeply personal experiences that strengthened her understanding of the human spirit and the importance of emotional support during times of adversity.

Following the loss of her daughter, Khloe Grace, in 2020, Yamaira was forced to apply many of the same therapeutic skills she had spent years teaching others. Through her own grief journey, she developed a profound understanding that loss is not something we simply “get over,” but something we learn to carry with strength, compassion, and support. This experience deepened her commitment to helping others find meaning, healing, and inner resilience in the face of life’s unimaginable challenges.

Yamaira holds a Master of Science degree from Capella University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. She brings more than 10 years of mental health experience, including over 4 years as a licensed counselor serving individuals across a wide range of emotional and behavioral health needs. She provides counseling services in both English and Spanish, allowing her to support clients from diverse backgrounds with warmth and cultural sensitivity.

Her clinical specialties include anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss, family and relationship challenges, stress management, panic disorders, maternal mental health, sleep disorders, identity concerns, chronic health conditions, end-of-life care, disordered eating, and emotional wellness related to physical health issues.

Yamaira believes healing begins through genuine connection, compassionate understanding, and creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Her approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and empowering individuals to rediscover their strength — even in life’s most difficult seasons.
